"Extremeanderings" is a newly minted portmanteau used to describe meandering conversations
devoted to the history of the rock band Extreme. It is also the unofficial title of Episode #7 of
the Podster Casters. We begin with the "Cold Opining" segment, where Sycamore Smith bestows
a dubious honor upon Extreme's 1991 mega-hit "More Than Words." From there, Sycamore
and co-host Matt Bullock discuss Extreme's long career, from 80s inception to '08 reunion.
Along the way, there are cameo appearances by some of the usual suspects (namely, The Beatles,
Nirvana, and Van Halen). The show is capped off by a "Gramophone Picnic" segment featuring
the legendary pedal-steel guitarist Speedy West.

Songs included in this episode: "More Than Words" by Extreme; "Intruder" by Van Halen;
"Mutha Don't Wanna Go To School Today" by Extreme; "Paullelujah" by MC Paul Barman;
"Politicalamity," "Seven Sundays," and "Who Cares?" by Extreme; "Marigold" by Nirvana;
"Hip Today" by Extreme; "Hey Hey My My (Into the Black)" by Neil Young & Crazy Horse;
"From Afar," "Fire in the Hole," and "Panama" by Van Halen; "Interface" by
Dramagods/Extreme; "Bicycle Race/Another One Bites the Dust" and "Help"
performed by Extreme; "God Isn't Dead?" by Extreme; "Blue Suede Shoes"
performed by The Beatles; "Cracker Jack" by Speedy West; "Intruder" by Van Halen.

The Podster Casters are back with Episode 6. In this episode, Matt looks for a new way to buy music; the Podster Casters suffer from Reverb Madness (and they ask you to suffer along with them); Sycamore presents a world before & after the influence of grunge; a couple of errors are corrected in the Overdubs section; and finally, "The Tennessee Plowboy" Eddy Arnold spins at the Gramophone Picnic.

Songs included in this episode: "Intruder" by Van Halen; "Boogie at My Place" by Tappin' Tommy Show; "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana (performed by Matt Bullock); "Mutha (Don't Wanna Go to School Today)," "Get the Funk Out," "Color Me Blind," and "Cynical" by Extreme; "Balls to the Wall" by Accept; "School" by Nirvana; "Then I Turned and Walked Slowly Away" by Eddy Arnold; "Intruder" by Van Halen.
